Measuring the Results of Pilates

The results you see and feel in Pilates seem small but have lasting effects! Your mindset for your body and abilities improves, movements are easier and without pain, and you begin a lifelong practice. Private sessions, online and in person, will help you achieve your individual results. The results of Pilates change you, inside and out, which makes it a mind and body exercise.

How Do I Start Pilates?

When starting something new, especially exercise, there are a lot of questions at the forefront of your mind. No matter the question, it is not silly to ask! Questions help you learn and prepare. Focus Your Mind in a Workout

Have you ever had trouble getting through your own workout? What were you thinking? Did you focus on the workout itself or think of all the things you needed to do today? When focusing on Pilates in a private session and only it, you end up forgetting about the time. It’s no longer a question of ‘when will this workout end’ but ‘how did it go by so quickly?’ This feeling happens when you have a connection to your spirit.

The Reformer

Pilates relieves stress. The mindful movement helps calm my overthinking mind and bring me to a better state of relaxation. The ability to do Pilates anywhere- home, in a hotel, studio, online, helps me remain consistent with my practice. It truly is a practice with no stopping point to maintain strength and flexibility just like meditation and mindfulness is a practice.

How about playing with your kids? Getting down to the floor easily and back up? Walking for long periodsContinue reading “Setting Your Pilates Goals”
